Aljamain Sterling (14-3) picked the most inopportune time to shoot for a take down against Marlon Moraes (20-5) at UFC Fight Night 123, catching a knee to the jaw and getting knocked out cold.

Sterling and Moraes sprawled on the mat before getting to their feet in an attempt to throw hands. That didn’t end how Sterling had hoped, as he was finished just a minute and five seconds into the bout. After the loss and during the replay, Sterling remained knocked out cold, as noted on the broadcast.

He tweeted after the loss.

Luckily, it seems as though Sterling will be just fine.
