Former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez has been arrested again, this time on an aggravated DUI charge in New Mexico.

Sanchez, 44, was arrested Monday by the Socorro City Police Department and booked into the Socorro County Jail, according to records obtained by TMZ Sports. He is facing charges of aggravated DUI and violating his probation.
According to booking information cited by TMZ, Sanchez allegedly had a blood-alcohol concentration greater than 0.16, more than twice the legal limit for driving.
The arrest could become particularly problematic because Sanchez was already serving five years of supervised probation stemming from a separate incident.
Earlier this year, Sanchez was sentenced to probation and 800 hours of community service after firing a gun into the air from a moving Jeep in Albuquerque. Prosecutors had sought prison time, but Sanchez avoided incarceration.
One condition of his probation reportedly prohibited him from consuming alcohol. That means Monday's arrest could potentially have consequences beyond the new DUI case.
Sanchez was booked shortly after 5 p.m. Monday and, according to TMZ, jail records showed no bond had been set at the time of its report.
The former UFC star was the middleweight winner of the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2005 and went on to become one of the promotion's most recognizable fighters.
He competed in the UFC for more than 15 years and challenged B.J. Penn for the lightweight championship in 2009.
Now Sanchez faces another legal fight, and this one could put the freedom he maintained earlier this year in jeopardy.
