UFC Stunningly Cancels Press Conference Amid Conor McGregor Rumors

The UFC 303 has canceled its press conference and we have no idea if it will be rescheduled. Nor was any real explanation provided.

But hey, other than that, everything is great.

The press conference was scheduled for Monday in Dublin, Ireland — with the actual fight scheduled for June 29 and featuring, of course, Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.

McGregor's recent behavior has fans questioning whether the cancelation of the press conference has anything to do with the legendary fighter. A little more than a week ago, he was seen partying into the wee hours of the morning.

"Dear UFC Fans, The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice," the UFC posted on X. "We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend. When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. - Thank you."

So yeah, less than ideal.

"This statement is unlike anything I've ever seen from the UFC before," wrote Nick Lombardi of SEScoops, via the New York Post. "I speculate a significant change is happening to the card, specifically the McGregor v Chandler fight. It's the only fight that would warrant this type of reaction."

Interestingly, the partying video came out just days after McGregor, 35, indicated that he had given up alcohol to prepare for the Chandler fight.

Then again, nobody saw him drinking. He was merely holding the drink.

But hey, if McGregor wins it's no big deal. If he loses, though, people may point to the video of him partying just a month before the fight.

As for the press conference ... well, we are very much in wait-and-see mode. Just like everything else involving McGregor these days.
