"This month, Mexican authorities executed multiple search warrants and seized a large number of motorcycles with an estimated value of approximately $40 million USD believed to be owned by FBI's Top Ten Fugitive Ryan James Wedding," the FBI's Los Angeles field office posted on X on Tuesday.

"This successful seizure is a result of collaborative efforts among Mexican authorities, the FBI, (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), and (Los Angeles Police Department). There is a reward up to $15 million USD for information leading to his arrest and/or conviction."

The photos posted by the FBI make it difficult to highlight every motorcycle in the collection. However, the group includes several Ducatis used in MotoGP competition. One, in particular, is the No. 65 Marlboro entry raced by Loris Capirossi. The Italian competitor became the first racer to make 300 MotoGP starts.

The motorcycle collection also includes multiple entries raced by Valentino Rossi, one raced by Jorge Lorenzo, one raced by Andrea Iannone, and one raced by Marc Marquez.  The FBI did not detail what it will do with this massive collection of motorcycles after the seizure at the Mexican warehouse.

Wedding is a former Olympic snowboarder and Canadian national who competed during the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. According to the FBI, authorities want Wedding for allegedly running a transnational drug trafficking network. The FBI previously offered a $10 million reward, but that number has increased to $15 million.

The FBI said this network "routinely shipped hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia, through Mexico and Southern California, to Canada and other locations in the United States." Additionally, the FBI placed Wedding on the top-10 fugitive list for orchestrating multiple murders and an attempted murder.

"Wedding went from shredding powder on the slopes at the Olympics to distributing powder cocaine on the streets of U.S. cities and in his native Canada," said Akil Davis, the Assistant Director of the FBI's Los Angeles Field Office, in March.

"The alleged murders of his competitors make Wedding a very dangerous man, and his addition to the list of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, coupled with a major reward offer by the State Department, will make the public our partner so that we can catch up with him before he puts anyone else in danger."
