The day everyone has waited so anxiously for has finally arrived. Skip Bayless will host his last episode of First Take and some other ESPN employees are finally speaking up about how they really feel about Bayless. He's said some incredibly dumb things and he mostly likes to rail on LeBron James, often for no real reason.

Bayless' colleagues became emboldened Sunday night when they were openly criticizing his opinion on James after he led the Cavaliers to a Game 7 Finals victory and helped them become the first team to come back from a 3-1 deficit and win the Finals. Ryen Russillo and Danny Kanell discussed why other ESPN'ers are only now criticizing him on ESPN's Russillo & Kanell on Monday afternoon.
"The problem is, when you disagree with Skip, you're like not allowed to, and then he gets mad at you about it. So nobody wants to deal with it. And that's why, when the LeBron stuff comes up, if you are going to be so clearly, like, doctoring the results, to keep pushing you don't like LeBron or you don't think he's any good, then go ahead and keep doing it. It's clearly great for business. But you can't get mad at other opinion people for being like, 'well that's just insane and I don't even know if you believe it.' And that's always been my point with any of that stuff," Russillo said.
"And isn't there a time when you just have to go, I was wrong. And isn't that time after the NBA Finals when LeBron just, was so dominant?" Kanell said."But that's not good for business. It's not good for business. You're right, Danny, but it's not good for business. And you know what? Business is good. So I respect that part of it. But we're all big boys. We all say stuff. And all of us, because we're opinion guys, disagree with each other all the time. But when you disagree with Skip, it gets handled a different way. And a lot of us are just like, whatever. So that's why we never bring it up," Russillo said."Well, we don't have to worry about it anymore," Kanell said.

That pretty much tells you all you need to know about Bayless and what other ESPN broadcasters have thought for so long, but wouldn't say. Will anyone miss Bayless? Is anyone going to bother watching him on Fox Sports? I know I won't.
