This MMA fight between Chad George and Mark Vorgeas saw George render Vorgeas unconscious with a choke hold. Instead of continuing the fight, George told the ref to call the match, as his opponent was clearly out of it. Instead of recognizing it like George did, the ref argued that Vorgeas wasn't out.
It took George standing on his feet, revealing Vorgeas' obviously unconscious body, for the ref to call the fight.
Of course George went into a celebratory frenzy over his victory, but he won so much more respect for recognizing his opponent was out. Imagine what could have happened if the fight were allowed to continue or he never argued and punched him repeatedly in the head.
That ref? Don't let him in the octagon again.
