Back on September 13, Miguel Aguilar was shot when burglars broke into his Bel-Air home, in Los Angeles, and it tragically turned into a fatal incident.

"Four men approached the victim and demanded property," LAPD Officer Terzes told KTLA. "One of the suspects produced a handgun and fired at the victim, striking him multiple times."
According to reports, "Armed intruders ultimately struck Aguilar multiple times, including once in the face, before fleeing... LAPD officers were called at around 4:30 p.m. that day" (per TMZ).
After being in the hospital over the last few months, Aguilar passed away at 43 years old on Saturday, December 21.
Many are mourning the loss of the Self Made Training Facility founder, who was also a well-known fitness influencer.
"We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our founder and CEO, Miguel Angel Aguilar," a tribute Instagram post from his company read.
"After a courageous three-month battle following the tragic incident that took place on September 13th, 2024, Miguel peacefully passed away on December 21st, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. Miguel was more than just a leader. He was a visionary, an inspiration, a mentor, a father, a husband, family, and a dear friend to many. His unwavering dedication to Self Made Training Facility, his passion for the fitness industry and entrepreneurial spirit have left an enduring legacy."
The post continued, "As we mourn the loss of our dear friend and leader, we also celebrate his extraordinary life and the positive impact he had on so many. Miguel's spirit will live on through Self Made Training Facility."
Three men have been arrested in connection to the robbery and shooting, as they now face charges of murder, attempted robbery, and assault with a firearm.
