There are two plays in basketball that will leave you scarred emotionally if you're on the wrong end of them: a dunk and a vicious crossover. This poor kid falls into the latter category, quite literally.
It's one thing to fall after getting crossed up, it happens. But to slide several feet, on concrete because you didn't have on the proper shoes? Sorry kid, that's your own fault.
This poor youngin' will now have to live with the fact that he played better defense on the asphalt than on the kid dressed like he's a part of Russell Westbrook's entourage. A crossover is never complete unless you stick the landing—that is: make the bucket.
I suspect this kid was outmatched from the start but maybe he should learn not to accept challenges. Unless he likes being on the receiving end of embarrassment.
