Doctor Strange is promising to be an interesting and much more mystical Marvel movie than we're used to seeing in the theaters. The trailer proves that much and has Benedict Cumberbatch playing the titular hero of Doctor Strange. The movie looks very much like it will be an origin story showing how Strange lost the use of his hands and could no longer continue on as a world-renown surgeon.
Cumberbatch meets The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) and eventually becomes The Sorcerer Supreme that comic book readers have come to know and love. We've got Inception-looking sequences and some overall trippy scenes, which is something that superhero movie-goers aren't quite used to and could be excellent for this movie considering how odd and magical the character is supposed to be. The movie comes out in November of this year.
