A furious parent who committed a terrible on-field act has been sentenced

No way he should have done thiis.

A California man who swung a bat at a baseball coach in anger has been sentenced after entering a plea in court.

Miguel Angel Mejia, 31, entered a no contest plea after he was charged with one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon. Mejia swung a baseball bat at a little league who benched his son, according to prosecutors as described in an Associated Press report.

Mejia was sentenced to three years probation and 45 days of state highway department work. He was also ordered to stay away from the coach and attend anger management classes, the AP reported.
