New Doctor Strange trailer brings back an old villain and some more trippy magic

One of many reasons why Comic-Con is the best.

While Doctor Strange isn't set to hit theaters until November, there's no better place to reveal new trailer footage than Comic-Con going on this weekend. While we knew Mads Mikkelsen would be playing some sort of villain we weren't sure who, but we've got our answer now. He will play Kaecilius, a character that has not appeared in the comics in 34 years.

Normally, Kaecilius is a mouth piece for Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) arch-enemy Baron Mordo (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor), but it seems roles may be changed or reversed for the movie. Mordo seems to be a good guy for now, but may very well end up joining the dark forces of the mystical realm by the end of the film.

We get a much better look at Strange's powers and he dons the famous Cloak of Levitation for the first time in the trailer. It looks like Strange will fight one of the biggest battles in the history of Marvel movies and knowing his luck and how magic works out in the comics, almost no one will even know it ever happened.
