Van Pelt will talk Saturday's big college football news, other sports events and of course, NFL content.
"We are excited to have the opportunity to be on when everything is over on Sundays," said Van Pelt. "We plan on looking at those results, and Saturday's, through the same lens as do on Monday nights. What mattered? What was important? We will also have some fun ways, we hope, to package some of the day's memorable performances and plays."
According to the ESPN release, the show will be a nod to Chris Berman and Tom Jackson's old NFL Primetime shows:
"We owe it to fans - and to Mr. Berman, Mr. Jackson and their colleagues - to carry on an incredible legacy of making Sunday nights fun," said Rob King, ESPN senior vice president, SportsCenter and News Platforms. "And thankfully, we have to the perfect guy in Scott, and the perfect team, to carry out this happy, important task."
This should be fantastic.
