Skip Bayless shocked everyone this year when the long-tenured opinion-spewer announced that he would be leaving ESPN's First Take for FOX Sports. Bayless become known for his "hot takes" at ESPN, often creating controversy with his fiery opinions. Would the new job and new show on Fox Sports 1 change all of that?
According to Bayless, no. In fact, Bayless says that he felt ESPN was holding his controversial takes back.
"Too many people in charge at ESPN, for my taste, were a little too fearful," Bayless said to the Hollywood Reporter. "It's a Disney network. There are just certain boundaries that you can't even tiptoe along. Not that we won't have boundaries at Fox, because we will. [But] they will trust me to go a little deeper. I can be completely honest on everything."

With ESPN, Bayless's takes have been more wacky than anything. This includes him thinking that Johnny Manziel should have gone No. 1 in the NFL Draft, and that Tim Tebow would be better than Aaron Rodgers.
However, if those takes are just scratching the surface, then I think we should all be afraid of what he has in store for his tenure at Fox Sports. It might be extremely annoying and controversial, or it could be mildly entertaining. I guess we will have to wait and see.
