We've finally got our first "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" trailer and it does not disappoint. There's just enough action, intrigue and mystery to keep you on the edge of your seat and we finally have the name of Felicity Jones' character, Jyn Erso. She's the very definition of a rebel and it looks like she's going to be leading a band of them to steal the plans for the first Death Star.
Forest Whitaker makes an appearance in a dark Stormtrooper-like suit and we get a Mon Mothma appearance. For those who don't remember or know, she was the leader of the rebellion in the original trilogy and was the one who gathered all the rebels for the attack on the second Death Star —- "many bothan spied died" might ring a bell. We've got a higher ranking official in the Empire and it looks like he's played by Mads Mikkelsen —- you might remember him as Le Chiffre from "Casino Royale" —- and we've got Donnie Yen showing off a little sword play.
This movie is looking very promising and has potential to be even better than "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" with its back story, promise of a ruthless Darth Vader and some spy work.
