The Philippines had a rough time diving at the Southeast Asian Games

Diving is a much harder sport than people give it credit for and there's a reason it's in the Olympics. However, these two guys are not that reason. Filipino national team divers John Elmerson Fabriga and John David Pahoyo were in the finals of the Southeast Asian Games for diving, but just couldn't get over the hump.

Fabriga got the three-meter jumps started off on a bad foot by not really completing a dive at all, but something that resembled a failed jump into the local swimming pool. You could tell it wasn't gonna end well for him when he jumped too far out and just couldn't get his spin to come around quick enough for a dive. The sheer terror on his face in the slo-mo replay is what makes it all worth it though.

Pahoyo didn't fare much better as he tried to to dive back up towards the board. At least that's what it looked like in the replay. Surely he must know that a dive head first is worth more than one feet first, right? Either way, both divers ended up with zero points on their dives, but seemed to have gotten a good laugh out of it in the cool down pool.
