31-year-old Michael Lee Roberts was told multiple times to move his SUV from a sidewalk in front of the Hernando County Detention Center, but he wasn't having it — at least not initially.
The Florida man did move his car eventually, but not exactly in the way police had hoped.
Roberts drove his car in circles on lawn outside of the jail and slammed right into a flag pole, only to be swarmed by a horde of cops.
Thankfully, all of this was caught on camera.
For his vehicular outburst, Roberts has been charged with criminal mischief and resisting an officer without violence.
Even better? His new home was only a few feet away.
