USA, USA, USA!

Much has been made about the poor water conditions in Rio, where the Olympics are slated to be held.

But despite reports that trash and sewage are floating in the water athletes will swim and row in, at least one competitor is sick of chatting about it.

U.S. Olympic rower Megan Kalmoe penned a story for The Guardian, unafraid to "row through shit."

"My request to everyone who is fixated on shit in the water: stop. Stop trying to ruin the Olympics for us.

If you are that insecure about where we stand, America, let me be the one to say it. I'll say it, if it will allay your fears and put some of these issues to rest:

I will row through shit for you, America."

That's about as American as it gets.
