Eastern Michigan freshman defensive tackle is named after the 1994 Disney movie "The Lion King." He was born Lion King Conaway, but dropped Conaway in Feb. 2014. Conaway was just in the way of infinite coolness.
Because he's a freshman in college, it's possible that Lion King wasn't even born when "The Lion King" debuted in '94.
It should be a requirement that when Lion King has children, one of his children must be named Simba.
Lion King and Eastern Michigan travel to Florida tomorrow.
