This year's iteration of the NBA Dunk Contest was one that brought a lot of comparisons to past contests and most notably the Dominique vs MJ contest from 1988. The NBA had a pretty good idea to do a video showing both so you can make the decision for yourself. I'm not sure how you can beat the creativity and supreme athleticism of Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon, but there are some old school fans out there who love the classics.
