Ever since the Spurs got their fifth championship in the Tim Duncan era in 2014 there has been a raging debate about who's better. Duncan or Kobe? Some people like Duncan more because he is thought to be more of a "team player" while others like Bryant because of all the records and the scoring. There's one man who played with both of them and saved them both on occasion in the playoffs.
Seven-time NBA champ Robert Horry spoke to the San Antonio Express-News about the question and answered with one of his own.
Presumably Duncan is the one who will win championship and Kobe is the one puts fannies in the seats. That's certainly an interesting perspective and one that others have presented before. Both have five rings and Kobe actually has won more head-to-head series, but Duncan has kept his team consistently great while the Lakers have faltered mightily in the past few years.
Horry also gave his opinion on which coach he preferred to play for during his time in the league.
I think most people would agree with that one as Jackson definitely treated his stars differently than the other players on the roster and that could certainly foster some bad feelings.
