The Oklahoma City Thunder sat down for a huddle at the end of regulation on Monday night after teammate Chet Holmgren forced overtime. The NBC Sports broadcast tried to take viewers into the moment, but Alex Caruso took matters into his hand.

The 6-foot-5 player used his hand to shove the camera away from the huddle. The Thunder players then went back to the huddle to prepare for what would be the first of two overtime periods.

The Thunder and the Spurs were locked in a 101-101 tie when this moment occurred. The intensity was evident considering that this was Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.

Caruso and the Thunder needed to find a way to slow down the Spurs and take control of the playoff game during overtime. Yet, this did not happen.

Sure, Caruso played a season-high 32 minutes while guarding Victor Wembanyama, and he delivered 31 points for the Thunder. The team just couldn't prevent another stunning moment as Wemby launched a three-point shot from 28 feet away to tie the game yet again with 26 seconds left in overtime.

The Spurs went on to secure a 122-115 win to take a one-game lead in the Western Conference Finals. Wemby scored 41 points and secured 24 rebounds while battling Caruso. This proved to be the advantage on Monday night.

The Western Conference Finals will continue with Game 2 on Wednesday night. The Thunder will once again host the Spurs at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City while trying to even the series.

Based on Monday night, the camera will inevitably follow Caruso and Wemby around as they go toe-to-toe once again. The two superstars will both try to rise to the occasion yet again during a pivotal time of the NBA season.
