Serbian Giant Boban Marjanovic Returning To EuroLeague After Nine-Year NBA Career

7-foot-4 Boban Marjanovic played nine seasons in the NBA, and now the Serbian big man is taking his talents back to the EuroLeague. The 36-year-old will play for the Fenerbahçe Beko, one of the top teams in the Turkish Super League.

In view of his NBA career, he played for six teams in nine NBA seasons, putting up career averages of 5.5 points (57.8% FG; 23.8 3PT) and 3.6 rebounds in only 8.7 minutes of playing time per game.

Known for his exuberant personality, Boban became a fan favorite, appearing on multiple television commercials, despite being a back up role player.

Furthermore, he even made a cameo as a villain in the movie "John Wick: Chapter 3," that included a fight scene with Keanu Reeves, who was portrayed as the main character.

In his last game as an NBA player, Boban made the fans of his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers, very happy as he missed a free throw on purpose. To note, whenever an opposing player from the away team misses both free throws vs. the Clippers, everyone in the crowd receives free chicken sandwiches.

All in all, the fans in Europe are excited to welcome back the legendary player that will undoubtedly be fun to watch both on the court and off.

Notably, Boban was a three-time Serbian Super League MVP from (2013-15), before joining the San Antonio Spurs.
