That is to say, LeBron's son surprised some fans with his recent performances in the G-League.

In his first road game, Bronny ended with 30 points (13-for-23 FG; 3-for-9 3PT), three rebounds, two assists, to go with a steal and a block.

After being drafted with the No.55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Bronny made his debut in the season opener where he got to play alongside LeBron, making them the first father-son duo ever in the league.

Now that Bronny has been assigned to the G-League, it seems the 20-year-old has found his groove.

To point out, in his last game vs. the San Diego Clippers (119-111 Lakers win), he set his previous career-high of 16 points and four rebounds in only 21 minutes of playing time.

Then following the best professional game of his career on Thursday night, Bronny spoke to reporters about why he played in a road game, when it first was decided that he wasn't going to travel with the South Bay Lakers.

"I just want to play that's the main thing, so I came out her with the 'G,'" Bronny said. "...Got some points on the board, was feeling good out there... [will] continue to play my game and learn from every game."

In four games so far in G-League, Bronny has averaged 14 points (40.4% FG), 3.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, to go with one steal and one block.
