Several teams have already expressed interest in the three-time All-star including the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Philadelphia 76ers selected Simmons with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, but he missed the 2016-17 season with a broken foot. He returned the next season to win Rookie of the Year and he earned three straight All-Star appearances from 2018-2021.

Ben Simmons has spent three seasons in Brooklyn since he was acquired in a deal that sent James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers. Unfortunately, the team's partnership with Simmons has been ill-fated from the start, in part due to a variety of injuries he has dealt with in those years.

Simmons failed to make an appearance for the Nets before the end of the 2021-22 campaign due to a back injury. The following season he played 42 games - the most in a season during his tenure in Brooklyn - but made minimal impact on either end of the floor.

Ben Simmons is averaging 6.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists on 33 games this season. At 6-foot-10, the guard remains a versatile defender and a strong passer for his size but has struggled to succeed in certain lineups due to his shooting limitations.

Simmons is in the final year of a five-year, maximum contract he signed with the Sixers. He's set to hit free agency this summer.
