Bucks Coach Darvin Ham Has Now Won Back-To-Back NBA Cup Championships With 14-0 Undefeated Record

Even though Ham was fired as head coach of the Lakers last season, he does have bragging rights since he has been victorious in the first two ever inaugural NBA In-Season Tournaments, without ever losing a game.

That is to say, Ham's coaching resume has yet another achievement added to it, considering in 2021 he won an NBA championship as an assistant with the Bucks, then last year won the NBA Cup with the Lakers.

Not to mention, in 2004 he won an NBA championship as a player on the Detroit Pistons, when he played alongside: Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace, Chauncey Billups, and Richard Hamilton.

In view of the NBA Cup prize money, head coaches receive the same amount as players, so last year Ham got $500,000. Now as an assistant coach, Ham will get a share of the pool money, which will be around 75% of head coach Doc Rivers' payout.

Notably, Bucks' Taurean Prince (6 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists) was with Ham in LA last year, so he also is undefeated when it comes to playing in NBA Cup games.
