Giannis Antetokounmpo heard the noise. He just didn't care.

Despite reports swirling that the Milwaukee Bucks might be ready to move their franchise star, the Greek Freak stayed put at Thursday's NBA trade deadline. And he let everyone know exactly how he feels about the idea of chasing rings somewhere else.
"Legends don't chase. They attract," Giannis posted on X.
Oh, and just to really hammer the point home, he added the famous "I'm not leaving!" scene from The Wolf of Wall Street for good measure. That's one way to squash the rumors.

Last week, one outlet claimed the Bucks were "ready" to trade him. This week, another said they were never serious about it. Classic NBA deadline smoke. But through it all, Giannis stayed cool, quiet, and extremely online.
The Bucks are struggling, sitting at 20-29 and outside the East's top 10. If Milwaukee does decide to blow it up, that decision now looks like an offseason problem. But it appears that Antetokounmpo isn't chasing anything — except maybe a reason to believe the Bucks are still worth betting on.
Either way, he's not the one running.
