Buddy Hield’s Wardrobe Malfunction Delayed Warriors Vs. Timberwolves Playoff Game

The Golden State Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Game 1 matchup was already underway at the Target Center, when some started to notice Buddy Hield was wearing the wrong shorts.

Being that, with the score tied 2-2, the Warriors had to burn a timeout less than a minute into the game.

The 32-year-old sharpshooter ran to the locker room to switch out his shorts, and this caused a delay in the action.

Although, Buddy may get a pass as he was a key contributor for the Warriors in their 99-88 win.

In 40 minutes on the court, he contributed 24 points (5-for-8 3PT) and eight rebounds.

Notably, this comes after Hield's near record-breaking Game 7 performance vs. the Houston Rockets, where he scored 33 points on 9-for-11 three-point shooting.

To point out, another Warriors player Stephen Curry also had to make a trip to the locker room after scoring 13 points in 13 minutes, as he strained his hamstring.

With Curry presumably out for the next game, Hield will once again see his usage increase.

That being said, hopefully he will have on the right attire when the Warriors and Timberwolves meet back up for Game 2 on Thursday, May 8 at 8:30 pm ET.
