Charles Barkley shreds UCLA star Lonzo Ball’s dad after Michael Jordan comment

Charles Barkley is right this time.

LaVar Ball has made headlines for a plethora of reasons recently, including saying his son and UCLA guard Lonzo Ball is already better than Steph Curry and how Lonzo will only play for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ball also said he could've beaten Michael Jordan one-on-one back in MJ's prime, and Charles Barkley shut that down pretty quickly.

"I don't ever talk about a guy who averaged two points a game," Barkley said.

Here's what LaMar Ball said about a one-on-one matchup with Michael Jordan.

"Back in my heyday, I would kill Michael Jordan one-on-one,'' Ball told USA Today Sports. I would just back him in and lift him off the ground and call a foul every time he fouls me when I do a jump hook to the right or the left. He cannot stop me one-on-one. He better make every shot 'cause he can't go around me. He's not fast enough. And he can only make so many shots outside before I make every bucket under the rim."

Ball played one season at Washington State from 1987-88, and he averaged 2.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in one season with the Cougars. For argument's sake, Michael Jordan averaged 35 points, 5.9 assists and five rebounds per game that same season with the Chicago Bulls. MJ probably didn't even know who LaVar Ball was back then.
