It appears that TNT's days of broadcasting NBA games are numbered, as the league is set to switch its media rights package to NBC Sports.

More specifically, the NBA is nearing an 11-year deal worth $76 billion with ESPN/ABC, NBC and Amazon Prime, according to the Wall Street Journal. That leaves TNT in the dust.
It also means the end of TNT's wildly popular studio show, Inside the NBA, featuring Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O'Neal and host Ernie Johnson. But Barkley said he has heard nothing and remains uncertain of his future.
"That's the one thing that's really, really bothered me the most about the TNT experience. Like, hey man, just tell us something," Barkley told Mad Dog Sports Radio's Beadle & Decke, via Awful Announcing. "Everybody's got an article coming out every day about 'we've still got a chance' or 'we've lost it.' You guys see us every week, how about picking up the phone, saying 'Hey, we still negotiating' or 'You know what, we've lost it.' "Just truth us. Because the one thing that really sucks, we gotta do this next year no matter what."
