The team Wade is close to signing with is not the Heat though despite Pat Riley coming in and trying to seal the deal. It looks like it might be a teamy that he didn't even get to meet with on Wednesday!
That's some heavy news and it would require a pretty hefty overhaul according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wade was originally leaning toward the Denver Nuggets since they were the only ones offering over $25 million a year. However, it seems that he used them as leverage a bit in hopes of getting the Heat to pony up some money and give him the money he felt was owed after taking hometown discounts his last three deals to bring in Chris Bosh, LeBron James and other guys last year.
The Bulls already have Jimmy Butler, Rajon Rondo, Brook Lopez and second-year head coach Fred Hoiberg so there's a good core to get this team going again without having to fully rebuild.
Here's also some news on where Dunleavy might land now that the deal is done.
And now the deal is official and Wade will return to Chicago to likely finish out his career.
