The Memphis Grizzlies might have made one of the biggest mistakes early in this offseason when they fired coach Dave Joerger. He was passionate about the guys in his locker room and got the Grizz to the playoffs despite having to deal with a ridiculous amount of injuries throughout the year.

Joerger wasn't out of a job for long though as it looks like another Western Conference team has come calling for him and the two sides have agreed in principle to a deal:

So not only is Joerger going to be paid by the Grizzlies to not coach that team, but he is also set to make about $4 million a year as coach of the lowly Kings. Hopefully he can get along better with DeMarcus Cousins than George Karl ever did because that is going to be the key to getting the Kings back into the postseason and out of the cellar in the NBA.
