During The Cavs’ 15th Win In A Row, Donovan Mitchell Foreshadowed Popcorn Prank On Rookie Teammate Jaylon Tyson

During the Cleveland Cavaliers come-from-behind win over the Brooklyn Nets (109-104) on Tuesday night, star player Donovan Mitchell was seen on the bench munching on popcorn all throughout the game.

Mitchell wasn't playing due to a groin injury, so evidently he had more time to goof around.

Following the team's victory, to give them their 15th win in a row, Mitchell posted a video of him pranking rookie teammate Jaylon Tyson.

Hopefully Tyson was hungry, because upon opening the car door, a mountain of popcorn was seen inside his whip.

Apparently this was a sort of revenge prank done by Donovan Mitchell and the Cavs because the rookie did not provide pastries for them to enjoy, as he was told to.

This may be a Cavs tradition after all, as more than a decade ago rookie Dion Waiters was a victim of the same joke after forgetting the team's donuts.

To point out, other notable NBA popcorn car pranks have not gone over so well, as some might remember when former Denver Nuggets player J.R. Smith (with the help of the team's ball boy) filled up his teammate Kenyon Martin's car for an April Fool's joke.

That is, Martin was furious and actually demanded J.R.'s address, while also threatening the team's ball boy. In order to prevent things from escalating, the organization actually had to step in and volunteer to pay for the damages.

Good thing the Cavs' 22-year-old rookie seemed a little more mellow, hopefully Mitchell and the rest of the team at least paid for a car detail.
