One of LeBron's most notable friends is rap superstar Drake. But that no longer appears to be the case. Fans did some digging and realized that the "Hot Ling Blink," artist is no longer following the Lakers star on Instagram.

That, of course, led to several reactions from fans on social media.
"Drake unfollowed LeBron Trouble in Paradise," one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Y'all laughing at Lebron because Drake unfollowed him but he still has Lebron tatted on him lol like who's the real loser in this situation?" another fan said noting that the rap star has a tattoo of James' high school jersey on his arm.
"Drake definitely dissing LeBron on the next album. Something about loyalty or some s***. F**k"
Some fans speculated that Drake's reasoning for unfollowing LeBron stems from the rap beef the Canadian-born artist had with rap star Kendrick Lamar this past summer.
Drake and Kendrick traded several jabs this summer. However, Kendrick was declared the victor after he dropped his hit song "Not Like Us." Kendrick had a huge concert in Los Angeles this past summer which was broadcast live. The Lakers star was among several celebrities in attendance. And cameras caught him having a ball, dancing to every song. Apparently, Drake took it personally.
DeMar DeRozan Gets Candid on Relationship With Rap Stars
LeBron was not the only person unfollowed by Drake recently. So were podcaster Joe Budden, rap star Playboi Carti, Kendrick Lamar and new Sacramento Kings guard DeMar DeRozan.
DeRozan and Drake built a relationship when DeMar was playing for Drake's hometown team, the Toronto Rappers. However, Kendrick is from DeMar's hometown of Compton, California. Naturally, DeRozan was also in attendance for the concert. But as far as the rap beef between Kendrick and Drake goes, the new Kings' guard is staying neutral.
"Drake's still my man, still my man, none of it changed," DeRozan said. "It's so easy to get overlooked and look at it for what it looks like, but at the end of the day it's music, entertainment. Two of the biggest rappers in the world went at it from a competitive standpoint and they battled it out."
