During Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves, Draymond Green was caught on camera referencing the Vegas points spread of the game (+5.5 differential).

This was viewed as the 12-year vet questioning the integrity of the refs.

"5.5. I know what y'all doing," Green was heard saying.

To note, at the very end Jonathan Kuminga ended up hitting a three-pointer to cover the spread, as the final score ended up being 102-97.

As reported by ESPN's Shams Charania on Wednesday, Draymond was fined $50,000 for this incident, which is a small fraction of his $255 million career earnings.

Notably, this is nothing new for Draymond Green, as over the course of his career the NBA has fined him approximately $2.2 million. Most of these include penalties for technical fouls, on-court scuffles, and suspensions. For example, some might remember back in the 2023 season, Green was suspended five games and fined $769,704 for putting Rudy Gobert in a headlock.

With Minnesota winning this most recent playoff series matchup 4-1 vs. Golden State, Green and the Warriors have been sent home packing. That is to say, the referees and Draymond won't have to deal with each other for another few months.
