On the Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis, the 4x champion made some serious accusations towards KAT, saying he was dodging playing against his former Minnesota Timberwolves teammate, Jimmy Butler.

"Some would say he [KAT] didn't play because Jimmy was in the building... they said KAT ain't play because Jimmy came to town."

However, it was later revealed that Towns' partner, Jordyn Woods, had lost one of her best friends to cancer, and the Knicks star was attending a funeral.

And reporters brought this up when Green was speaking to the media after the Warriors' recent win vs. the Brooklyn Nets.

"You seen the reaction today to your KAT comments? Were you aware of what the circumstances were?"

Upon hearing his own mistake, Green gave his condolences.

"Oh man...But what I heard was...what I heard...I send well wishes...but the Draymond Green Show will go on."

Needless to say, Green has been facing backlash for his baseless accusations.

Especially considering, Towns actually dropped 44 points vs. Jimmy Butler and his former Miami Heat team back at the beginning of the season.

One fan said on X, "Jimmy has ducked KAT like 10 times for Rest, even earning the nickname 'General Soreness' but KAT going to a funeral gets Draymond ranting. Green is such a lowlife."

Others pointed out that Green never truly apologized.

"Number of times Draymond said he was sorry for attacking KAT's character: ZERO Number of times Draymond said, 'The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis must go on': Two.... disgusting."

To mention, Green's false storyline was even echoed by Fox Sports TV personality Chris Broussard.
