While it appeared Irvin was just congratulating his friend on the win, some think he may have crossed the line, as cameras caught him kissing Edwards on the cheek after they posed for a picture together.

One fan commented: "I did not have Michael Irvin kissing Anthony Edwards on the cheek on my NBA playoffs Bingo card for tonight, but there you have it."

Another said on X, "He better be some sort of family friend for awhile cuz that s*** weird af."

After this interaction with the Hall of Fame wide receiver, Edwards was then interviewed.

"Yeah, that's OG, man. I met him before, man. I got nothing but love for him."

Teammate Julius Randle, who is a Dallas, Texas native, spoke to reporters about the Cowboys icon coming to watch the team play at the Target Center.

"That's like family... for him to come to Minnesota, that's a pretty big deal."

One user said on X, "Anthony Edwards got people pulling up to Minneapolis, MN. We in the matrix. Michael Irvin was smiling ear to ear for a picture with him."

After leaving the first half with an apparent ankle injury, Edwards came back strong in the second half and finished the game with 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists, to go with three steals and one block.

With the series tied at 1-1, Game 3 will be played in San Francisco at the Chase Center on Saturday, May 10 at 8:30 pm ET.
