According to TMZ, there is a lawsuit that was filed by two plaintiffs in Los Angeles County on Tuesday afternoon. To note the timing of this, it was hours before James Sr. and Jr. were about to make NBA history at Crypto.com Arena.

The identities of the ones bringing forth this suit are April Almanza Lopez and Kiara Rae McGillen. According to the court documents, on November 13, 2022, allegedly, LeBron and Bronny crashed into them while they were driving on a highway in Littlerock, California.

Both Lopez and McGillen claim they sustained injuries that will require further medical attention. Furthermore, they went on to specify that because their vehicle was wrecked, it lost value after the car accident.

All in all, they are suing the James duo for damages, yet the amount they are seeking is unknown at this time. That is to say, LeBron and Bronny didn't let this stop them from making their highly anticipated debut together.

LeBron said sharing the floor with his son for the first time, is a memory he will cherish for the rest of his life.

"It's always been family over everything... It's one of the greatest gifts I've ever got from the Man Above and I'm gonna take full advantage of it."

Rookie Bronny emphasized that same sentiment.

"Going up to that scorer's table with my dad, checking in for the first time, it was a crazy moment that I will never forget.

The James family has not addressed the lawsuit publicly, and will next be seen when they take the (basketball) court together vs. the Phoenix Suns on Friday, October 25 at 10:00 pm ET.
