Gilbert Arenas' Fiancée Gives Engagement Ring to Him Two Weeks After Ex-NBA Star Proposed To Her

While on vacation in Paris for the Olympic Games, 3x NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas proposed to his girlfriend Melli Monaco in the 'city of love.' This was announced on Arenas' Instagram back on July 29, when he posted a picture of him and his newly engaged fiancée together.

The caption read, "The Eiffel Tower is Where it happened, She said nothing... i guess i was so nervous, i asked and answered yes for her so im technically engaged to myself at the moment @mellimonaco still waiting."

Well, after two weeks the wait is over, as the two were spotted hanging out at a nightclub Monday, when a group of bottle girls showed up with a sign that read, "Men Wear Engagement Rings Too."

Seeing this, Arenas had no idea what was going on, until he saw his lover Monaco holding an engagement ring, and that's when he realized it was official now. The former NBA star said "yes" for the second time, and this time a ring was put on his finger.

Arenas later made an Instagram post highlighting the moment, "[Monaco] surprised me with an engagement ring. Got me feeling like a #Baddie, City Boys they're giving us engagement rings now."

To point out, this isn't the first engagement ring story that Arenas has made headlines for, as he once admitted to swapping out his ex-fiancée Laura Gavon's $400K diamond ring for a $10k fake version replacement, after they had an argument and temporarily broke up.

With this in mind, hopefully Arenas and Monaco's rings don't get replaced.
