Ever since the start of the NBA season most people have believed that the winner of the Western Conference Finals would be the winner of the NBA Finals. There might be 16 teams competing in the playoffs, but it looks like Business Insider agrees that there are only two teams likely to win the NBA Championship.

According to Nate Silver's model at Five Thirty Eight, in which the rest of the season is simulated thousands of times, the Warriors have almost a 50-50 chance to win the title. More importantly, there is a 73% chance that the champions of the NBA this season will either be the Warriors or the Spurs and not a single playoff game has even been played yet.

The chart from Business Insider:

The Cleveland Cavaliers have a seven percent of winning the title and it's only that high because the Eastern Conference is so weak right now. They are expected to run through the first two rounds of the playoffs before potentially seeing any tough opponent in the Eastern Conference Finals.
