In all of the NBA free agency frenzy, one dude just got traded for an 8th grader

Trey Burke just got traded for a kid not even in high school yet!

While NBA free agency has been pretty hectic and hard to keep up with at times, there have also been some trades that are mind-boggling (looking at you, Orlando Magic). There was one in particular between the Washington Wizards and Utah Jazz that's actually pretty funny.

It involves guard Trey Burke and yet-to-be-named player far down the road.

Not only did Burke get traded for a measly second-round pick, but one that's currently in eighth grade! How's that for disrespectful?

The former Michigan Wolverine averaged 10.6 points and 2.3 assists in 64 games off the bench last season, shooting 41 percent overall and 34.4 percent from three-point range — a career high. However, he fell out of favor in Utah because of how many guards they have —- especially after the George Hill trade —- and how poorly he played compared to the expectations placed upon him.
