The Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks have an interesting series on their hands now after a huge 111-103 win for the C's on Friday night. It didn't come without its controversy though as Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas seemingly took a cheap shot at Hawks guard Dennis Schroder.

It certainly wasn't a clean play and it has brought up the discussion of whether it was worth a flagrant-1 or flagrant-2 foul. The latter would have meant a one-game suspension for Thomas and likely a loss for the Celtics in this series. However, the NBA decided that Thomas doesn't deserve a suspension for the hit.
Isaiah Thomas was assessed a flagrant-1 foul for his hit to Dennis Schroder in Game 3 against Atlanta. He will be available in Game 4.
