J.J. Redick totally flopped on a wide open jumper and got a foul call

How does this get called?

J.J. Redick has been known as a flopper during his time in the NBA and even going back to his college days at Duke. In a game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night he might have had his greatest flop ever. He pump faked Kent Bazemore and took a dribble in for a jump shot and continued to flop around despite no one being anywhere near him. He got the call.

This is why the NBA can't have nice things. The refs aren't actually looking at the play, but just looking for guys to make it look like there was contact. That's an offense that should be fined in my book.
