This is one of the reasons that people don't like James Harden. His lack of effort on the defensive is just an abomination and here's further proof. With his team only up two with less than three minutes in the game he just lets Raptor guard DeMar DeRozan go right by him and doesn't even pretend to care.
This is why Harden won't win an MVP despite being a monster scorer and the reason the Rockets did end up winning this game 113-107. He scored 40 points and dished out 14 assists so I suppose he gets a defensive break every so often. But that play was just horrific.
