Karl-Anthony Towns Caught Watching The Minnesota Timberwolves Game On His Phone During A Billie Eilish Concert

Former Timberwolves No. 1 overall draft pick Karl-Anthony Towns was recently traded to the New York Knicks in a deal that sent Donte DiVincenzo and Julius Randle to Minnesota.

KAT has already played against his previous team in a preseason game (115-110 win), and apparently he still is keeping tabs on his old teammates, as he was caught watching them play vs. the Chicago Bulls, while in attendance at a Billie Eilish concert.

As he was seated next to his girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, inside his new home court, Madison Square Garden, it seems Towns wasn't so interested in the performance, at least not as much as the NBA action, which ultimately ended in a 125-123 loss for the Timberwolves.

Woods posted this interaction to her Instagram, in which she said, "I promise he was enjoying the concert."

Towns, a New Jersey native, now has to come to terms that he has new teammates in New York, that includes: Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart, and OG Anunoby.

With this in mind, the Knicks are expected to be one of the top contending teams in the Eastern Conference ahead of the 2024-25 season, and will look to build new chemistry together as things get underway when they take on the Boston Celtics on October 22 at 7:30 pm ET.

The good news for Towns is that his season opener will end just in time for the 10:00 pm ET Timberwolves vs. LA Lakers matchup. That is to say, he won't have to miss watching his former team, in which he spent nine seasons with and averaged 22.9 points (52.4% FG; 39.8% 3PT), 10.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.3 blocks, 0.8 steals in 573 career games.
