The Kevin Durant sweepstakes is officially over and the Golden State Warriors are the huge winners. They convinced him to leave his comfort zone of Oklahoma City to come team up with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Andrew Bogut and Draymond Green.

RELATED: Reports are out that KD has picked a team, but there's a problem
The former league MVP will join a mega team, but it will likely have to get gutted because of the massive contract he's going to sign and it looks like this:
KD averaged 28.3 points, five assists and 8.2 rebounds this past season and got his team to within one win of the NBA Finals, but fell 4-3 to the Warriors before they eventually lost to the Cavaliers 4-3 after going up 3-1. It also seems there were other factors in play for Durant this offseason.
Durant wrote a letter in The Players' Tribune explaining his decision. He had serious interest from the Boston Celtics and his hometown Thunder as well, but the chance to play with three potential superstars was just overwhelming for Durant.
