At 1-2 to start the 2017-18 season, the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have to be feeling a bit frustrated.

Sure, the season just started, but two tough losses in the first three games is never easy to stomach.
It was apparently even harder for Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, though, because neither player made it to the end of Saturday's 111-101 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on the road. In fact, both players were ejected back-to-back all because of the same play.
Late in the game and down 109-99, Curry went to the rim and made a layup, but he apparently thought he was fouled on the play. Clearly frustrated by the no-call, the former NBA MVP threw his mouth guard in the direction of the referee and let him hear it.
That quite obviously led to Curry being ejected from the game, but somewhere in the commission Durant — also a former league MVP — apparently lost his cool, and he was ejected as well.
Notably, while the two-star players were leaving the court Durant exchanged words with some Memphis fans in the crowd, taunting them with the fact that he has a championship ring.
That, not surprisingly, was caught on Twitter for the whole world to see.
It's likely that Saturday night isn't the end of this saga for the Warriors. Not only did Curry throw his mouthpiece at the ref but he all kinds up upset and nearly got in the refs face over the non-call.
The NBA likely won't take this lightly, and though a star like Curry may not get anything but a slap on the wrist, he likely will face some kind of consequence.
