Kobe Bryant is playing in his last All-Star Game before he retires and he's opening up a whole lot to the media. Before the big game on Sunday, Bryant talked about potentially teaming up with another superstar and described how his brief conversation went with Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki.
Nowitzki was last a free agent in 2010 and was one year away from becoming an NBA champion. It's a good thing that Nowitzki stayed because he ended up getting that ring and he's gotten one more recently than Bryant not to mention his team has been much more competitive than the hapless Lakers. It was probably a good call for Nowitzki to decline the offer.
