That is to say, although this incident took place in 2021, new video footage (per TMZ) has revealed what took place before the cops arrived at the scene. As a result, the case is being re-opened for investigation by the NBA.

In light of this, Jamora is now speaking out over the incident, as she shared a lengthy post to her 2.6 million followers on Instagram.
"I want to thank everyone for all of your love, support, and kind messages. I am so touched, moved, and motivated by all of you. Your words have warmed my heart and made me feel seen in a way I never imagined. As a survivor of domestic violence, I wanted to share that you are not alone."
"I loved someone I trusted with my safety and well-being. Going through that experience was difficult, but every day now, I feel grateful simply to be here, healing and reclaiming my life. If you are struggling with abuse, please know that you don't have to go through it by yourself — find someone you trust, a loved one, a counselor, or even your local authorities. There is help out there, and there is hope."
The 27-year-old concluded by saying: "By sharing this, I hope to give each of you the courage to stand up against abuse. Together, let's speak up and speak out. Your voice matters, and you deserve a life of safety and respect."

In view of the criminal charges against Hayes, he initially was facing 12 charges... but received just three years of probation and 450 hours of community service and domestic violence classes, according to TMZ.
When the news first broke three years ago, much of the focus was on the police's arrest of the former Pelicans player.

With the new video evidence, Hayes may be in line to receive a suspension, but so far the 24-year-old has been in the lineup for all 10 games this season.
In his sixth year in the league, Hayes has averaged 6.3 points (70.6% FG), 4.6 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
