And he wasn't just any fan, as Mike was rocking the 'Kobe 5' sneakers and even showed off his Black Mamba tattoo.

It seems fans are getting more and more lucky these days, as earlier this year another guy made the $100k half court shot opportunity.

In view of Thursday night's game, the Lakers, led by running-mates LeBron James and Luka Doncic, were able to come from behind to defeat the Knicks in overtime, 113-109.

LeBron put up 31 points (11-for-23 FG), 11 rebounds, and 8 assists, while Luka had 32 points (9-for-23 FG), 7 rebounds, and 12 assists.

To note, in a valiant effort, Knicks star Brunson also contributed 39 points and 10 assists, yet came away with a sprained ankle in the loss.

With a win, the Lakers have now won eight straight games and improve to a 40-21 record, solidifying themselves as the No. 2 seed in the West.

As for Mike, he now has 100,001 reasons to be happy.
