LeBron James speaks out on how Dwyane Wade’s arrival fractured the Cavaliers locker room

"But f**k it. It is what it is."

After a rocky start, it appears as though Dwyane Wade is beginning to adjust to his new role with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Over his last eight games, Wade is averaging 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

But it wasn't always that positive since he joined the team. Wade was adjusting to new teammates and inconsistent playing time upon his arrival, which made it tough to play well. It also didn't help that other players on the roster didn't exactly approve of Wade joining the team, either. The team has had great chemistry in recent years and other players on the team were concerned Wade's arrival would disrupt that.

LeBron James noted in an interview with Jason Lloyd of The Athletic that there were only a few others on the team that welcomed Wade to the team and that bothered him.

"There was a couple guys with it," James said. "But it wasn't a lot. ... I still know what he's capable of doing. Why wouldn't you want another guy in the locker room that brings a championship mentality and a guy who can still play? So, of course, it bothered me, but fuck it. It is what it is."

Now that Wade has had time to acclimate to his new role, it looks as though things are turning around in The Land. The Cavaliers have won nine straight games and are finally beginning to look like the team that has made it to three consecutive NBA Finals.

A resurgence and a winning streak should help Wade be welcomed by his new teammates.
